Since the blog post, the mixer has made its way around TV Land – it has been featured on segments with Katherine and Sophie on The Chew and Live with Kelly.  I would like to thank those who gave me the heads up by leaving comments on my blog! I’ve tivo’d each time it’s aired because I love seeing the reaction of the hosts. I love that Lauryn and Kalen had guitar picks at the wedding, and love that Lauryn had a second dress.  I love the damask on the cake, and I love the chapel they were married in.  Everything looked to be absolute perfection!  Congratulations to the two of you! I hope your wedding was everything and more! And that your marriage is an even bigger success!

First up, a loopy swoopy O for Lauryn.  This is the first O I’ve done, and I must say, I’m in love with it!  This is the Sophia Font covered in Clear crystals. So elegant!

Next is a monogram for Donna!  Donna was a referral from 2 friends – both whom I didn’t know knew each other.  Facebook is a small world!  I had to ask Donna how she knew each of them (one also a BDD bride!) and she said her sorority! Ah, makes so much sense!  She wanted to use fuchsia and clear, but wasn’t sure which combination to do.  We figured out a Fuchsia L and clear MD  would be awesome!  I might have taken a few pics of the MD since those are my initials

Next up is a Pink 15!  This was a special order.  I actually donated a Bling Diva birthday set to help raise money for a friend’s group raise money for the Relay for Life up here in Santa Clarita.  The winners contacted me immediately to redeem for their daughter’s 15th birthday! Beautiful in bubble gum pink!  I’m sure it looked great on Liliana’s cake!

Next up is another order, for a bride, Miranda, getting married very soon in Mexico!! She saw the post from Sip, See, Sparkle and wanted to order the We Do, but without the heart. No problem! I had done it for another wedding before, and she knew that was the one.  We worked to pick this dark red to match the red roses she will have at the wedding.  She got it last week and LOVES IT!!

The bride and groom are real! They were married last year and that adorable little one is their baby. So cute, yes?  You could still see some misty-ness going on with this recreation of their day!

This XOXO was created for someone but in a series of unfortunate events, it made its way back to me and now I use it at bridal shows and I also have it in my office! I love the XOXO! This was created with Clear X’s and Seafoam Green O’s!

More green!! This was for Jennifer – she was the winner from the Knollwood Bridal show!  She chose the C in the Taylor font using Peridot crystals.

Another C – but this one completely different.  Sanjanique ordered this in Siam – a brilliant red.  The font choice was Grace.  Funny story with this one (and thank goodness for patient brides).  When I was working on this, I was in the beginning stages of my pregnancy and was experiencing “pregnancy brain.”  Basically your mind just has complete brain farts and you make silly mistakes.  With Sanjanique’s, I mixed up the color choice and created this entire topper in Yellow.  And it wasn’t until I was 100% done that I realized my mistake. SOOOOO, I had to explain my error and rushed to fix it.  She was fantastic and didn’t mind the slight delay (so for now, the yellow C is in my closet either for future shows, or if someone is interested in it…..Discount!)

Here’s the first C I made. Oops.

Now where did that Yellow come from? That was from another bridal winner, from the Bellisima Bridal show – Deena!  It was my first yellow cake topper to make and I could see this on top of a simple cake. Maybe with some gray decor. Like, Chevron Stripes? (sorry, but I’m completely infatuated with those right now. They’re even the theme for my baby shower invites).
